Here's what to know about the women's NCAA title oddsboard:
The Favorites: Defending champion UConn is holding steady as the favorite, moving to -250 from -125 since the middle of December. In the 2024-25 title game, former Huskies star Paige Bueckers helped lead the squad to victory over South Carolina with 17 points, along with Sarah Strong's 24 points and 15 rebounds. UConn is currently 21-0 and ranked No. 1 in the country. And speaking of Strong, she's the heavy favorite to win the women's Wooden Award. Second on the list and second in the nation is 19-1 UCLA. The Bruins made the Final Four last season, falling 85-51 to Uconn in the semifinals.
Familiar Faces: At third and fourth on this list are South Carolina and Texas. In the semifinals last season, the Longhorns were bounced by South Carolina, 74-57, while the Gamecocks lost to UConn in the title game, 82-59. The 19-2 Longhorns are fourth in the country and are powered by returning star Madison Booker, the team's leading scorer. Third-ranked South Carolina has seen its odds lengthen from +280 since the beginning of the season.
