Panthers (-4.5) cover against Giants

Carolina has been a beacon of hope for WhatIfSports in the SuperContest. In five of the last six weeks, we’ve picked Carolina to cover. We’ve turned those five selections into five correct picks. Naturally, we’re again gravitating toward Carolina in Week 15. Favored by four and a half points over the Giants, we’re predicting Carolina to win 24-16, with the team coming out on top in 74.8 percent of our simulations.

Cardinals (-3.5) cover against Eagles

Aside from the undefeated Panthers, no team is hotter than Arizona. Winners of seven consecutive games, the 11-2 Cardinals pay a visit to 6-7 Philadelphia in Week 15. The Cardinals are favored by three and a half points, but we’re betting they’ll win more comfortably than that. In 501 simulations, Arizona won 72.5 percent of the time and covered the spread in 61.1 percent of simulations.

Broncos (+6.5) cover against Steelers

In the WhatIfSports Game to Watch, the Broncos and Steelers battle it out in Pittsburgh. Oddsmakers set the line at Steelers by six and a half, but we’re envisioning a much closer contest. We simulated the matchup 501 times and Pittsburgh won 51.5 percent of games, beating Denver by an average score of 23-22. Denver covered the spread in 68.5 percent of simulations.
