Vikings sign OT Hickey, LB Whittingham

The Minnesota Vikings have signed offensive tackle Sean Hickey and linebacker Jason Whittingham, the team announced on Wednessday.

Hickey joins the Vikings after signing with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2014, before spending the 2015 season on the New England Patriots' practice squad.

An undrafted rookie out of Utah, Whittingham started 24 games over four seasons with the Utes, registering 26 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a senior in 2015.
