Vikings sign DB Sam Brown, waive OT Arturo Uzdavinis

Just days after signing offensive tackle Arturo Uzdavinis the Minnesota Vikings are moving on.

The Vikings announced the move Wednesday, waiving Uzdavinis and signing defensive back Sam Brown.

Brown sent three weeks on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad last season after signing as an undrafted free agent.

The 6-foot-3 defender played four seasons at Missouri Western State, and was a second team all-conference selection in 2015 after racking up 43 tackles and three interceptions as a senior.
