Vikings sign 5th-round pick Rodney Adams

The Vikings signed wide receiver Rodney Adams on Thursday, a month after selecting the former South Florida standout in the fifth round (No. 170 overall) of the NFL Draft.

He's the first member of this year's draft class to sign with the Vikings.

Adams finished his USF career with 1,967 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, tying his own single-season school record and racking up 822 yards as a senior.
