TUCSON, Ariz. -- The NBA dream lives on for former University of Arizona basketball players T.J. McConnell and Brandon Ashley.

The two went undrafted on Thursday night.

But  McConnell has landed in Philadelphia where he was offered a "six figure" amount to sign with the 76ers and will be paid even if he doesn't make the team, according to the Arizona Daily Star, quoting McConnell's agent.

"I am excited about the opportunity and just am going to work so hard to make the roster," McConnell said in a text. "I think I have a great deal."

McConnell said he will be playing in the Utah Summer League (July 6-9) and then the Las Vegas Summer League (July 10-20) right after.

As for Ashley, RealGM.com reported he will be part of the Los Angeles Lakers summer league team. He will join former Washington center Robet Upshaw as free agents.
