Star slimdown: LeBron's looking different with new diet
One of sports' biggest superstars has gone the route of many by using the summertime to try to diet and get in better shape.
For LeBron James, the difference is already evident.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst said the four-time NBA MVP has eliminated carbs from his diet in an attempt to lose weight. James showed his progress in a recent Instagram post.
There's apparently no need for stress eating for James, who will turn 30 in December, with the decision of where he will play now firmly in the rearview mirror.
James' weight is listed at 250 pounds on the NBA's official site. Coming out of high school, James was reportedly 240 pounds, so he may now be closer to that number.
The cramping James experienced when the air conditioning faltered in San Antonio during Game One of the NBA Finals became a major talking point, so you can only imagine the carb cutdown will help improve the veteran's stamina in his return to the Cavaliers.
