Sanders' penthouse Dallas apartment floods from indoor pool

Published Sep. 16, 2014 6:45 p.m. ET

Deion Sanders may have a tougher time selling his penthouse apartment in Dallas after the hall of famer found the $6.5 million pad underwater.

The water doesn't have anything to do with a leaky pipe, but actually from the indoor pool inside the high-rise apartment, and Sanders is looking to collect from the company that did renovations in the apartment in 2012.

Sanders has already dropped the price on the ritzy Azure tower - where Terrell Owens and Jason Kidd have also lived - to $4.8 million from the original asking price of $6.5 million. He is looking to receive at least one million from pool company in damages.

Sanders' flooded apartment comes at a time where the extra cash flow could be needed as he is in the middle of a costly, messy divorce with his estranged wife.
