Training camp is underway and soon the football games will begin. With that will come the inundation of statistics -- who ran for how many yards, in what round was player drafted, what were a player's stats in college and so on.

We scoured through the Vikings media guide and came up with some different and interesting facts about a number of players. While your friends are dishing out the number of Adrian Peterson's 1,000-yard seasons, you can enlighten them on which players -- yes, players -- perform on the drums in church, who has a relative who is a TV and movie actress, which player's dad was a prison guard at San Quentin, who had a zoo animal named after him and much more.
