Loaded Hawg Dog coming to TMS

Published Jun. 2, 2015 3:10 p.m. ET

The health-conscious people at Texas Motor Speedway are at it again.

TMS, which has a strong love affair with bacon on its concessions menu, will be adding a new item just in time for this weekend's Firestone 600.

The Loaded Hawg Dog, which is being called an oversized sandwich, makes its debut at the Gate 4 concession stand this weekend for the low, low price of $12.

And what does that $12 get you? Pulled pork, two mozzarella cheese sticks and two slices of bacon inside a foot-long bun. If that wasn't enough, the concoction is then tolled with cheddar bacon jalapeno cheese and some sliced jalapenos for color.

For past race weekends the track has unveiled items such as bacon cotton candy, a bacon-infused beer milkshake, bacon nachos and queso wings.
