Jimmie Johnson helps inspirational athlete cross triathlon finish line
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon was held on Sunday in Davidson, North Carolina. The event featured a truly amazing moment.
Adam Warner, a 25-year-old athlete who is deaf, visually impaired and suffers from cerebral palsy, competed in his very first triathlon. With the help of his personal trainer, Warner completed the 500-yard swim, 13-mile bicycle ride and 5k run.
Johnson was there at the end to help Warner cross the finish line.
Warner also plays golf, tennis and goes to a fitness trainer two times a week. What an inspiration.
The Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon is just one event in the JJF Wellness Challenge. The 2015 edition has raised more than $300,000 to support K-12 public schools.
