Hulk Hogan: I broke up daughter's engagement to Dallas Cowboy (VIDEO)

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but he didn't want his daughter marrying one in particular.

Former Cowboys center Phil Costa popped the question to Brooke Hogan in June 2013 in Las Vegas. But just six months later, she had a change of heart and called off the engagement so she could focus on her music career.

But that isn't the whole story.

Brooke's dad apparently stepped in because he didn't approve of Costa.

"I love the Dallas Cowboys, been a fan forever, but my daughter was engaged to one of those guys and he didn't walk the walk and talk the talk," Hogan said on 105.3-FM The Fan. "I put a bullet in that really quick. There was no way my daughter was going to marry somebody that I don't like that got me mad, or has got in my face."

Hogan got mad but says Costa didn't attempt to let it escalate any further.

"He knew better than to step up 'cause he would have gotten slammed just like Andre the Giant."
