FOX Sports Sun Miami Heat first-round broadcast schedule

MIAMI HEAT PRESS RELEASE

MIAMI -- The HEAT announced the schedule for its best-of-seven, first round series against the Charlotte Hornets. The complete frst round schedule is as follows:

The 2016 White Hot HEAT Playoffs presented by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming open Sunday, April 17 at AmericanAirlines Arena. Game 1 is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff. Game 2 will be played Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m. The HEAT will then travel to Charlotte for Games 3 and 4, where the contests will be played Saturday, April 23 and Monday, April 25, respectively. Games 5, 6 and 7 will only be played if necessary.

All First Round games will air on FOX Sports Sun excluding games airing on ABC. Home telecasts will begin with a full hour of HEAT Live, the pre-game show and road telecasts will begin with a special half hour edition. HEAT Live will be hosted by HEAT Television Host and Courtside Reporter, Jason Jackson. A special one-hour edition will precede the HEAT's first home game on April 17.  HEAT originals Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino will call the action and will be joined by HEAT reporters including Jackson and Kristen Hewitt. Ron Rothstein and John Crotty will continue to provide insightful studio analysis during pre and post game coverage in the Biscayne Bayside studio. Each telecast will also feature extended post-game coverage live from site, including post-game press conferences, highlights, analysis and player interviews.
