Former Billiken Rob Loe to play with Warriors in NBA Summer League

ST. LOUIS -- Rob Loe is ready to take his talents to the next level.

The former Saint Louis University forward will join the Golden State Warriors in the Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas July 11-21. The Warriors -- the reigning summer league champions -- will play their first game Friday, July 11 against the Charlotte Hornets. 

Loe helped the Billikens to three NCAA Tournament appearances in his career. As a senior, he was third on the team in scoring with 10.3 points per game and pulled down 5.7 rebounds per game, both career highs. Additionally, he posted a career-high 41 blocks, 30 steals and 67 assists his senior year. For his career, he averaged 7.3 ppg and 3.9 rpg.

Loe is expected to return to New Zealand to represent his home country in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain later this summer.
