Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: Who to start

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The fantasy football season continues to roll on as we head into a busy bye-week season. As you try and get your lineup ready to roll, check out these Week 4 rankings to decide who to get in your lineup this week.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (9) is one of the storylines this week as he returns to where his career began in San Diego. Find out where he falls in our week 4 rankings on the following slides. Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

The fourth week of the season kicks off on Thursday night with a non-Divisional game between the Bengals and the Dolphins this week. The weekend promises plenty more fantasy football goodness, so make sure you have your best team on the field to finish the first month of the season. To help you make your who to start and who to sit decisions, check out my Week 4 rankings on the following slides highlighting who I think you should get in your lineup this weekend.

Each week you can find my start/sit rankings here on FanSided. Usually, the rankings debut on Wednesday with only minor adjustments as injury situations change leading into the weekend. Due to my out-of-town travel this week, I had to bump them to Thursday, but next week they’ll return to their regular schedule. As adjustments are made heading into the weekend, the rankings on the following slides will update automatically, so drop a bookmark here or check back later for the newest information before kickoff on Sunday.

Also, make sure to set your bookmark on our fantasy football hub to get all the FanSided fantasy coverage each week and follow on Twitter @FansidedFantasy where I’ll let you know when new posts are available and do my best to answer any questions you have.

At FanSided, this season we are partnering this season with FantasyPros.com to bring you the rankings in a new, easy-to navigate format. You can also check out some great research tools over at FantasyPros, and we’re happy to be a part of their growing network. They also have enabled us to bring you a new tool that you can find in the menu bar anywhere on FanSided.com. It’s our start/sit tool which gives you specific advice for your team.

Thanks to the new tools you can see how my rankings stack up against the ECR (Expert Consensus Rankings) without having to surf to a bunch of other sites. Hopefully, this makes this weekly FanSided post a one-stop shop that can help you get your lineup set for Week 4 having to visit a ton of different sites.

The rankings on the following slides are my personal opinion on who you should start and sit this week. For each position, I’ve considered the opponent, expected workload, and overall risk of each player.

Remember, the Packers and Eagles start the bye week rotation this week, so no on from Philadelphia or Green Bay should be in your lineup this week (so they aren’t on these rankings.) To see who should be, check out my Week 4 Rankings by scrolling through the following slides.
