Colts' Allen says Patriots could have used 'soap for balls' and still won

While the NFL world is buzzing about the New England Patriots and "Deflategate," one person seems to be rolling his eyes.

That man? Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen, who was on the receiving end of the 45-7 beatdown put on by the Patriots in the AFC championship game. So, while reports are flying around that say the NFL discovered 11 of the 12 footballs used by New England during the game were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch, Allen isn't impressed.

What's more, he told FOX Sports that under-inflated balls had nothing to do with the game's outcome.

"Soap for balls." Anyone else feel there's been way too much ball talk in the media over the last two days?

Anyway, most sane people wouldn't argue with Allen. The Colts were simply outmatched on Sunday and the amount of air in a football had nothing to do with the final score.
