Charles Barkley: Anthony Davis is 'the next superstar'


Move over, Kevin Durant and LeBron James.
There's a new superstar in town, at least according to NBA legend and TNT analyst Charles Barkley.
The big guy spent much of Tuesday's opening night praising the third-year power forward.
"If you haven't got a chance to see Anthony Davis play, man, you've got to," Barkley said during the broadcast. "We're not going to show New Orleans, but let me tell you something, if you get a chance to see Anthony Davis play, he is the next big thing. ... It's LeBron, Kevin Durant. Those are the best two players by far. The next player who is going to step in there is Anthony Davis."

Davis opened the season with 26 points and 17 rebounds and tied a career high nine blocks in the Pelicans' 101-84 win over the Magic. With stats like those, Barkley may be on to something...
