TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals on Friday announced they agreed to terms with tight end Jermaine Gresham on a one-year contract.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gresham is coming off back surgery following a season in which he started 15 games and caught 62 passes for 460 yards and five touchdowns.

Gresham is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who played in 74 games (67 starts) the past five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

A first-round pick (21st overall) by the Bengals out of Oklahoma in the 2010, Gresham has 280 receptions for 2,722 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career. His best season came in 2012 when he set career highs with 64 catches for 737 yards while playing in all 16 games and earned his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection.

Gresham, San Diego's Antonio Gates and Carolina's Greg Olsen are the only tight ends in the NFL with at least 40 receptions, 400 receiving yards and four touchdowns in each of the last five seasons.
