Between 50 Cent's brutal toss, Miss Texas' bowling "throw" and an Astros fan's baseball dunk, it's been a rough year for first ceremonial first pitches.
Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah nearly joined the ranks of the ashamed. Well actually, he did at first. Noah failed to follow through on his first try before Thursday's game against the Oakland A's and missed the strike zone short and wide right, letting out his characteristic shout of anguish.
But the 2014 NBA Defensive Player of the Year rebounded quickly and called for a do-over before nailing it with a change-up down the middle.
