Bucks sign former Suns forward Teletovic
The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward Mirza Teletovic on Friday, adding a veteran scorer who shot .393 form 3-point range for the Phoenix Suns last season.
A native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Teletovic registered career highs after averaging 12.2 points per game, as well as a .427 field goal percentage, while setting an NBA record for most 3-pointers by a reserve during the regular season with 179.
The move reunites the 30-year-old with Bucks boss Jason Kidd, who coached the Brooklyn Nets for one season during Teletovic's three-year run with the team.
Prior to joining the NBA, Teletovic played professionally in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium and Spain, averaging a career-high 21.7 points per game for Spain's Caja Laboral before signing with the Nets in 2012.
