Bryant expects Cowboys fans to be 'really loud' against Redskins
Despite a hot start and a 6-1 record, the Dallas Cowboys have had problems filling AT&T Stadium with their own fans after 49ers, Saints and Texans fans have taken over Jerry Jones' house this season.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant is however hoping to see a good turnout of loud Cowboys fans on Monday night against the rival Redskins.
"Oh, it's going to be loud," Bryant told the Dallas Morning News. "It better be loud. They better be loud, like really loud. It's going to be fun... It's the only game show on TV. It gets no better than that."
Bryant notes that games against Washington are always "pretty big," same for when the Cowboys play the Giants or Eagles.
"Those teams, they're division teams, you got to come with it," Bryant said. "The records don't matter when those teams are on the field. It's all about bragging rights and all that kind of stuff."
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten called the rivalry with Washington one of the best in the NFL.
"I think anybody who comes within each of those organizations understands, it's just really hard to explain," Witten said. "But there's the passion that I think you feel from the fans and both the organizations, the owners and then of course just the game, it just seems like the atmosphere and the tempo is just at a higher level."
The Cowboys enter Monday night's game 4-1 against the Redskins at AT&T Stadium, with an all-time record of 64-42-2.
