All hail Donald? Trump approached to buy Buffalo Bills

Here comes The Donald?

Donald Trump, the well-known businessman, told a Buffalo radio station that he's been approached by a group of people looking to buy the Buffalo Bills in the wake of owner Ralph Wilson's death. Trump, in case you didn't know, is close friends with Hall of Famer and Bills legend Jim Kelly.

Don't worry. Trump wouldn't look to move the team out of Buffalo.

"I know so many people in Buffalo," Trump told WBEN Radio. "I certainly would look at it but I would ... if it were me I'd keep the team in Buffalo.

"I think it's something that is really vital to the area. ... It would be catastrophic, in my opinion, if Buffalo loses the Buffalo Bills."

Well, that's a relief. And of course, it's way too soon to just assume Trump will end up as the team's owner. There are far too many steps that must be navigated before that can happen. But Trump does have a history in the business of football, as he bought the USFL's New Jersey Generals back in 1983.
