The Puppy Bowl was so last month. Now that it's March, it can only mean one thing: It's time for Meow Madness.
That's right. The Hallmark Channel, the "exclusive home of kitten sports," is hosting the first-ever cats-ketball event, featuring 100 adoptable "cat-letes" showing their considerable hops and "flea throw" line shooting ability in order to help their teams claw their way to ... "The Final Fur."
Lest you think this is just kitty litter, four-time NBA champion John Salley will join Mary Carillo in the broadcasting booth to announce the "first-ever feline championship of basketball" — featuring legends of the game like Steffan Furry, Michael Jor-cat, Meow Ming and Meow-tumbo as they vie for catnip and bragging rights on April 3.
