WATCH: Jay Z drops by Rams locker room to celebrate win
A visit from Roc Nation provided a much-needed jolt for Rams nation.
Rapper Jay Z was in St. Louis on Sunday to check in on one of his celebrated clients, and rookie Todd Gurley responded by rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns as the Rams snapped a five-game losing streak with a 21-14 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Amid rumors that his wife, Beyonce, also would attend the game at the Edward Jones Dome, Jay Z stopped by the St. Louis locker room after the game to pose for photos and help lead the team in a group "1-2-3" victory chant.
Gurley, who had failed to reach 100 yards in his previous five games after rushing for at least 125 yards in his first four career starts, turned in a spectacular performance that Jay Z could appreciate.
The rookie standout, who signed with Jay Z's Roc Nation after declaring for the NFL Draft in January, ran for 127 and two touchdowns on nine carries in the second half alone as the Rams won for the first time since Nov. 1.
