Vikings DT Johnson arrested for disorderly conduct

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson has been arrested for disorderly conduct.

Hennepin County online jail records show Johnson was arrested by Minneapolis police early Sunday and released on bail. The 30-year-old was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of trespassing, both misdemeanors.

Details on what prompted the arrest weren't immediately available. Vikings spokesman Bob Hagan says the team is investigating and will have additional comment when appropriate.

Johnson's phone number is not listed and it's not clear if he has an attorney. Jail records show Johnson was given a ''tab charge,'' which is a charge issued by the arresting officer and filed with the court. They are often used in misdemeanor cases.

It's Johnson's first season with the Vikings after three years with New Orleans.
