Vick braced for Atlanta return

Michael Vick is ready to make his football return to Atlanta. Vick will play his first game in Atlanta since 2006 when the Philadelphia Eagles visit Sunday. Vick says he's prepared for the scrutiny that will come this week when he faces his former team for the first time. "I look forward to every week. This week isn't going to be any different," Vick said. "It's going to be good to go back to Atlanta. We still have a game to win." Vick was a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback during his six seasons with the Falcons. He served 18 months in federal prison for running a dogfighting ring. Vick said he no longer had any ties to Atlanta. Vick has had limited playing time in his first season with the Eagles. He has 15 carries for 65 yards and is 3 for 9 for 6 yards passing. He nearly scored his first TD since 2006 in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Redskins, running 4 yards to the 1. "I'm prepared to play whenever my number is called," Vick said. Vick smiled when asked about the kind of reaction he expected from Falcons fans. "I'm going to get a great reaction from the crowd. It's going to be a standing ovation," he said, smiling. "It's still my city."
