Uni Watch ranks Chicago Bears jersey as NFL's 4th-best

One notorious uniform expert appears to be falling out of love with the Chicago Bears' classic threads.
Paul Lukas of "Uni Watch" writes columns for ESPN devoted to team uniforms. Lukas ranks all 32 teams by the visual appeal of their uniforms, and his latest installment was published this week. In it, the Bears fell from No. 1 to No. 4.
Lukas began by complimenting Chicago's color scheme, matching stripes, brand recognition and yearly throwbacks. Then, he went on to explain why the Bears dropped in the ranking.
"Two reasons: First, the helmet logo is starting to feel a bit dated," Lukas wrote. "And all the old-school trappings don't work well with Nike's Flywire collar. Several other teams—including all three of the ones ranked above the Bears on this year's list—have opted not to use that collar style. The Bears would be smart to do likewise."
Even though the Bears need to tweak their look a bit as Nike shoves the NFL into the future, they remain one of the best-dressed teams in the league. The only teams Lukas ranked ahead of the Bears were the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
