Tony Romo isn't afraid of trickery

You can't blame a guy for trying.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, with his team fighting for a first down in the third quarter against the Vikings, did his best to get the ball over the line.

Specifically, he tried to push the ball forward with his foot.

Of course, it didn't work. Vikings defensive end Jared Allen and the head referee saw the entire thing. It's a harmless joke. But that didn't stop fans watching the game from tweeting their questions:

No harm, no foul.Let's move on, shall we?
