Tom Brady Has 99 Problems But This Ain't One

Tom Brady’s issues with the NFL have been quite public, but there’s at least one area where he’s thankfully never had an issue

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has dealt with many issues this year, including serving a four-game suspension for his role in the Deflategate scandal and. However, domestic violence doesn’t appear to be one of many problems Brady has.

And he is not about to dismiss the issue like the NFL and the Giants have. During a WEEI radio appearance, Tom Brady made it clear that he has no respect for domestic violence.

“I grew up with three sisters, I was very fortunate to learn from a loving father and a loving mother how to treat and respect women,” he said. “I have a daughter of my own and domestic violence is a horrible issue. It’s a tragedy when it happens. Any type of abuse or bullying of people who can’t defend or fight for themselves, I have no respect for that.”

Yes, it takes a monster to hurt a significant other and unborn child which was the case since Molly Brown was pregnant in at least one incident in which police were called on former New York Giants kicker Josh Brown.

Yet, the NFL thought they were right to continue paying the abuser in this case while they reopen an investigation into a case they already had the evidence for. And New York Giants owner John Mara added insult to injury by saying the extent of the abuse is unknown. If someone admits that they’ve physically, emotionally, and verbally abused another human being (and more), why does it matter to what extent it was? News flash: love shouldn’t hurt. Abuse should never happen.

Tom Brady’s speaking against domestic violence  and calling the NFL out on it’s “tough stances” says a lot. It also highlights the illogical thinking of the NFL. How does one get a longer suspension for allegedly tampering with balls than someone with several documented domestic violence incidents?

No need to stay in your lane on this one, Brady! Too many people look the other way and stay silent on this issue.
