Titans' safety Hope to miss Ravens' game Sunday
Starting safety Chris Hope is not expected to play Sunday in the Tennessee Titans' home opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
Hope missed a third straight day of practice Friday because of a shoulder injury.
"We'll definitely hold him this week and see how he is next week," coach Mike Munchak said.
Hope suffered the injury late in Sunday's 16-14 loss at Jacksonville and has played in 49 consecutive games for the Titans. He has missed only five games since joining the team in 2006.
Jordan Babineaux, picked up as a free agent from Seattle this off season, will start in place of Hope.
Wide receiver Damian Williams (hamstring) and defensive end William Hayes (shoulder) also missed practice. They will be listed as questionable for the game against the Ravens.
Three players who missed last week will be listed as probable: Ends Derrick Morgan (knee) and Jason Jones (knee) and running back Javon Ringer (back) all fully participated in practices this week.
