Titans QB Locker hurts right hand vs. Browns

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Titans quarterback Jake Locker hurt his right hand in the second quarter against the Cleveland Browns, and he was questionable to return.
Locker was hit high on a blitz by Browns cornerback Buster Skrine, and the Titans quarterback immediately signaled first down after being hit. But Locker then went to the sideline before going to the locker room with a team doctor.
Browns defensive end Phil Taylor also hurt a knee in the first half, and Titans tight end Craig Stevens hurt his thigh. Both were questionable to return.
Charlie Whitehurst replaced him and threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Kendall Wright for a 21-3 lead. On the next Titans offensive play, Whitehurst found Justin Hunter for a 75-yard TD giving Tennessee a 28-3 lead late in the first half.
Locker missed last week's 41-14 loss at Indianapolis with an injured wrist on his right, throwing arm. That was his 15th game out of 36 since being named Tennessee's starter he has missed because of injuries.
The Titans quarterback was playing very well when he left. Locker was 8 of 11 for 79 yards and a TD, and he also had 34 yards rushing and a touchdown when Browns linebacker Chris Kirskey hit Locker in the head with his right forearm in the end zone.
