Titans' new regime reshapes roster, cuts 22 players

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have waived wide receiver Justin Hunter and running back Bishop Sankey and 20 other players as they trimmed their roster ahead of Saturday's deadline.

The Titans announced the moves Friday.

Hunter and Sankey were Tennessee's second-round draft picks in 2013 and 2014. The Titans also released veteran running back Dexter McCluster.

Other players waived included offensive tackles Jeremiah Poutasi and Tyler Marz; fullback Sam Bergen; tight ends Jerome Cunningham and Alex Ellis; running back David Fluellen; linebackers Curtis Grant, Justin Staples and J.R. Tavai; receivers Ben Roberts and Andrew Turzilli; cornerbacks B.W. Webb, and Kalan Reed; center Ronald Patrick; safeties Marqueston Huff and Curtis Riley; kicker Aldrick Rosas; nose tackle Antwaun Woods and offensive linemen Ronald Patrick and Will Poehls.
