The Raiders have one of the NFL's most literate fanbases

You can call Raider Nation a crude bunch.

Just don't the fans of Oakland dull-witted.

According to a test administered by The Wall Street Journal, Raiders fans were some of the NFL's most literate and grammar-savvy.

The test analyzed posted responses on the Raiders team site and found that Silver and Black fans are less prone to spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes than most of their NFL counterparts. Only six NFL fanbases ranked higher than Oakland's.

Comparatively, fans of the San Francisco 49ers ranked 16th in the same exact test.
