The Latest: Dolphins QB Tannehill hurts left leg, leaves
The Latest on Week 14 of the NFL season (all times Eastern):
3:45 p.m.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill limped off the field late in the third quarter after being hit on the left leg as he completed a pass against Arizona.
Tannehill was on his back while being examined by the medical staff and then rose and left the game. He walked gingerly to the locker room accompanied by a trainer.
Tannehill, who hasn't missed a game in his five-year career, was replaced by Matt Moore with Miami leading 21-9.

Caleb Sturgis hit a 41-yard field goal with 4:59 left to give the Eagles a 22-21 lead after holder Donnie Jones got the high snap from third-string long snapper Trey Burton down in time.
The Eagles lost long snapper Jon Dorenbos to a right wrist injury. Backup Brent Celek made a poor snap on a 50-yard field goal attempt and then suffered a stinger, leaving Burton to handle the tough task.

3:40 p.m.
Darren Sproles left the field on his own and headed back to the locker room area for tests after taking a hard shot to the head while trying to catch a punt. Washington's Deshazor Everett ran Sproles over and players from both sides immediately started pushing and shoving.
Sproles remained down for a couple minutes before walking off. Ryan Mathews is the last healthy running back active for Philadelphia. Wendell Smallwood injured his right knee in the first half. Kenjon Barner was a healthy scratch.

Left tackle Joe Staley will miss his first game for the San Francisco 49ers since the end of the 2010 season.
Staley had made 92 consecutive starts before being sidelined by a hamstring injury for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
For the Jets, 2015 second-round receiver Devin Smith is suiting up for his first game since tearing his ACL last season.
- Josh Dubow reporting from Santa Clara, California

3:10 p.m.
The Los Angeles Rams will be without two key defensive starters when they attempt to slow their skid against Atlanta.
Defensive end Robert Quinn has been ruled out for the second straight game due to a concussion, and cornerback E.J. Gaines is out with a thigh injury for the Rams (4-8), who have lost seven of eight. Quinn is a versatile pass-rushing threat, while Gaines has struggled in coverage in recent games.
The Falcons (7-5) are without their top two receivers, Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu.
- Greg Beacham reporting from Los Angeles.

3:05 p.m.
Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa has been ruled out for the rest of the game against the Panthers with a neck injury.
Bosa, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, was injured in the second quarter while sacking Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. He was taken to the locker room and evaluated for a concussion.
Bosa didn't appear to have his head up as he collided with the 6-foot-5, 245-pound Newton in the backfield and his neck snapped back on contact. He remained on the field for a few minutes before being helped to the sideline.
It's been a rough day for the Chargers.
Not only are they trailing the Panthers 23-7 at halftime but they also lost running back Melvin Gordon to a hip injury in the first quarter. Cornerback Craig Mager remains out with an elbow injury he sustained in the first half and right tackle Joe Barksdale is trying to play through an ankle injury, although he is limping noticeably.

2:50 p.m.
Buffalo Bills receiver Sammy Watkins has scored his first touchdown in nearly a calendar year.
It was an 8-yard catch from Tyrod Taylor midway through the second quarter that cut Pittsburgh's lead to 14-7. Watkins is playing his third consecutive game since missing eight after aggravating an injury to his surgically repaired left foot.
The Bills' top receiver had not found the end zone since scoring twice in a 35-25 loss at Washington on Dec. 20 last year.

2:45 p.m.
There's a delay to start the second half in Buffalo's home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In clearing New Era Field of a dusting of snow, the tractors also swept up a large amount of rubber pellets in the process.
The pellets are part of the artificial turf on the field.
The sweeping left a large black pile of pellets ringing the field along the sidelines. Field workers had to use blowers and shovels to push the pellets further off the field of play.
- John Wawrow reporting from Orchard Park, New York.

2:40 p.m.
A flanker screen by Ryan Tannehill ended up losing the Dolphins 21 yards after he fumbled in heavy rain against Arizona.
The ball slipped out of the quarterback's hands and bounded backward as he attempted a pass to Jarvis Landry. Landry tried to recover the fumble, but the ball squirted away and rolled out of bounds.
In the first 20 minutes of the game there were six turnovers, four by Arizona.
- Steven Wine reporting from Miami.

Retired Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Jimmy Smith was inducted into the franchise's ring of honor at halftime of Sunday's game against Minnesota.
Smith captured part of the ceremony on his phone as more 40 former Jaguars stood behind him. He was honored during the team's annual alumni weekend. They had a group dinner at EverBank Field on Saturday and then spent time on owner Shad Khan's luxury yacht.
Smith had more than a dozen friends and family members on the field for his induction. He joined offensive tackle Tony Boselli (2006), former owners Wayne and Delores Weaver (2012), running back Fred Taylor (2012) and quarterback Mark Brunell (2013) in the Pride of the Jaguars.
The 47-year-old Smith, whose life has been defined as much by drug addiction as football production, is the franchise's all-time leader in receptions (862), receiving yards (12,287) and receiving touchdowns (67). He still holds 11 team records, including most consecutive games with a reception (86).
Smith started crying as his name and jersey number (82) were unveiled inside the stadium.

2:30 p.m.
Julio Jones won't play for the Atlanta Falcons in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The NFL's most productive receiver is nursing a case of turf toe, and it didn't improve enough to get him on the field for the Falcons (7-5).
Jones has 72 catches for a league-best 1,253 yards - 165 yards more than the closest receiver.
Jones' absence is a boost for the Rams' beleaguered defense, as is the absence of Mohamed Sanu, the Falcons' No. 2 receiver. Sanu, who is fighting a groin injury, has caught 49 passes for 521 yards and three touchdowns.
- Greg Beacham reporting from Los Angeles.

2:25 p.m.
Denver cornerback Aqib Talib has picked up a personal foul after going after Titans wide receiver Harry Douglas in retaliation for a low block on his teammate Chris Harris Jr.
Harris was down on the field for a couple minutes after Douglas apparently blocked the Denver cornerback low on a 6-yard run by Derrick Henry. Then DeMarco Murray picked up a first down on the next play up the middle, but all the action took place on the sideline, where Talib took Douglas down to the ground. Titans linebackers Derrick Morgan and Avery Williamson were the first to try to break it up.
Once everyone was separated, referee John Parry announced Talib had been penalized for unnecessary roughness with 2:43 left in the second quarter.
Ryan Succop kicked a 41-yard field goal to cap a 19-play, 74-yard drive that took up 8 minutes, 4 seconds off the clock. That gave Tennessee a 13-0 lead.
- Teresa M. Walker reporting from Nashville, Tennessee.

2:20 p.m.
Detroit defensive end Ziggy Ansah is dealing with another injury.
Ansah left in the second quarter against Chicago with a shoulder problem, the latest frustrating moment this season for the 27-year-old pass rusher. Ansah, who had 14 1/2 sacks last season, does not have any in 2016. He dealt with an ankle injury earlier this season.
The Lions lead the Bears 10-3 at halftime.

2:15 p.m.
Minnesota and Jacksonville are in a field goal-fest.
It's Kai Forbath 9, Jason Myers 6, late in the first half.
The Vikings have taken advantage of three huge plays to set up their scores, getting passing plays of 44 and 41 yards on their first two drives. They also set up another field goal with Cordarrelle Patterson's 53-yard kickoff return.
Minnesota had a chance to extend the lead late in the first half - after a 45-yard pass play from Sam Bradford to Stefon Diggs - but Sen'Derrick Marks stopped Matt Asiata on a fourth-and-goal run from inside the 1-yard line.
Jacksonville entered the game having given up just two pass plays longer than 40 yards all season. They allowed three in the first half against the Vikings.
- Mark Long reporting from Jacksonville.

2:05 p.m.
The first-place Detroit Lions are having problems in what figured to be the easiest game left on their schedule.
The Lions and Chicago Bears are tied 3-3 in the second quarter on Sunday. Detroit finally shook off a sluggish start when Matthew Stafford threw a 48-yard pass to Marvin Jones on third-and-16, but the Lions managed only a field goal on that drive. Stafford has been wearing a glove on his throwing hand, an indication that perhaps he's dealing with some sort of minor injury.
The Lions, who have not won a division title since 1993, came in with a two-game lead on Minnesota and Green Bay atop the NFC North.
- Noah Trister reporting from Detroit.

2 p.m.
The Dolphins and Cardinals combined for five turnovers in the first quarter Sunday with most of the period played in heavy Miami rain.
Arizona's Carson Palmer threw two interceptions and David Johnson lost a fumble, while Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw a pick and also fumbled a snap, which the Cardinals recovered at their 1-yard line.
The quarter ended with Miami up 7-6, with Arizona also missing an extra point attempt.

1:35 p.m.
Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has been carted off the field with a hip injury and is questionable to return to the game Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Gordon tried to recover a Phillip Rivers fumble in the first quarter, but Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis landed on Gordon while going for the ball and Gordon's left leg bent awkwardly.
Rookie Kenneth Farrow will replace Gordon at running back.

1:25 p.m.
Titans coach Mike Mularkey has a reason to call the NFL office Monday after having to throw the challenge flag not once, but twice on what he thought was a scoring play with 8:44 left in the first quarter.
Officials ruled Titans tight end Delanie Walker had stepped out of bounds at the Broncos 5, though Walker appeared to stay in as he ran down the left sideline before diving into the end zone for what he thought was a touchdown.
The crew headed by John Parry spotted the ball at the Denver 5. Mularkey tossed his challenge flag way out onto the field, and Parry announced the play was not reviewable. Mularkey talked to an official on the sideline, then threw his challenge flag a second time. Parry once again noted the play was not reviewable.
Tennessee scored three plays later when DeMarco Murray ran in from 1 yard out for a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
- Teresa M. Walker reporting from Nashville, Tennessee.

1:20 p.m.
Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri extended his own NFL record of consecutive 100-point seasons to 19 on Sunday when he made a 34-yard field goal to give the Colts a 3-0 lead over Houston midway through the first quarter.
Vinatieri now has 102 points this season.
Since joining the Colts in 2006, Vinatieri has a franchise record nine 100-point seasons. And if the Colts beat the Texans, Vinatieri would join George Blanda and Gary Anderson as the only players to win 200 regular-season games in their careers.

1:10 p.m.
Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is back on the sideline after missing a game because of a detached retina.
Zimmer was wearing a patch and protective glasses Sunday in Jacksonville.
Zimmer got clearance earlier this week to fly to Jacksonville, but said Friday he wasn't sure whether he would coach from the sideline or the box.
- Mark Long reporting from Jacksonville, Florida.

1:05 p.m.
When Houston's Shane Lechler punted the ball 45 yards on the Texans' opening series, he passed former Colts and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning on the NFL's career games played list. Lechler has now played in 267 career games.
He also extended the NFL's longest active streak of consecutive career games played to 235.
