Texans' Andre Johnson inactive against Colts
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Andre Johnson's chase for reception No. 1,000 has been put on hold because he is inactive for Sunday's game at Indianapolis.
DeVier Posey will start in place of Johnson, who has 996 career catches. Johnson is out with a concussion.
Houston (7-6) also has deactivated tight end Garrett Graham, linebacker Whitney Mercilus, offensive lineman Xavier Su'a-Filo, quarterback Thad Lewis, cornerback Andre Hal and safety Josh Aubrey. John Simon will replace Mercilus, while C.J. Fiedorowicz takes over for Graham.
Cornerback Jalil Brown, linebacker Henoc Muamba, defensive tackle Montori Hughes and four offensive linemen - A.Q. Shipley, Andrew McDonald, Hugh Thornton and Joe Reitz - are inactive for Indy (9-4). Thornton, the right guard, is out with a knee injury. Lance Louis will start at right guard for the Colts.
