Terrelle Pryor waived by Bengals
The Bengals haven't carried a No. 3 quarterback the last few seasons, but if they do this year, Josh Johnson may have the early inside track.
Johnson has taken reps over Terrelle Pryor during the team's first two minicamp practices, according to ESPN.com's Coley Harvey. Both quarterbacks were signed this offseason to add depth in the wake of Jason Campbell's departure.

Both Johnson and Pryor have fallen behind A.J. McCarron in the competition to be Andy Dalton's backup. While it's only June, it appears both Johnson and Pryor have some work to do to prove to Marvin Lewis that it will be worth keeping three quarterbacks on the roster to start the season.
UPDATE: The Bengals just announced Pryor's release.
