T.O., Ochocinco won't suffer Jenkins

Cincinnati receiving duo Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco fired insults at New York Jets player Kris Jenkins in response to criticism the injured defensive tackle made during an NFL pregame show, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

“First of all, if he spent more time training in the offseason he wouldn’t have to be in the booth commenting on us, maybe he wouldn’t be getting hurt every year,” Owens said Sunday on the T.Ocho Show on Versus.

The Jets defensive lineman, who has torn his ACL the past two seasons, was on CBS discussing how the heavily hyped wide receiver pairing has failed to put Cincinnati on top of the AFC North Division.

“If you’re talking about people feeding off your energy and you’re on reality TV and you’re twittering in meetings and pregame and doing things like that, you’re not serious about football,” Jenkins said in a guest spot. “You know, if you’re chasing girls and stuff, doing all that, you’re not serious about football ... Go do something. It’s not, it’s not even worth talking about.”

Instead of blatantly insulting Jenkins, Ochocinco claimed he had never heard of the four-time Pro Bowler.

“I would like to fire back at him, but no disrespect to whoever Kris Jenkins is -- I don’t know who he is,” Ochocinco said. “You ain’t really relevant, you ain’t in my 360 ... I feel you, now get out my pockets.”

At one point Owens just yelled “Fat boy!” in reference to the 360-pound Jenkins.
