Stephen Jones: Romo feels as good as he has felt in years

Tony Romo just turned 35 on Tuesday, but Cowboys VP Stephen Jones is not expecting him to take a step back in 2015. In fact, he believes that Romo will improve on his 2014 season, which could arguably be considered the best of his career.

“No question in my mind,” Jones said. “I think he keeps getting better. I actually had a visit with him out there at the awards show and he said he’s felt as good as he has felt in years, in terms of his off-season and how his body feels and the work that he’s doing.

Jones isn't the only one who believes in another career year to come.

“The last couple of years he has been dealing with off-season surgeries and some uncomfortable things. But he said he thinks he’s ready to have the best year he’s ever had.”

A fully healthy Tony Romo with this current Cowboys offensive line and another weapon at running back could live up to this billing.
