Don't worry, Steelers fans who believe in the Madden video game curse, Antonio Brown will not be on the cover this year.

EA Sports announced Tuesday that Rob Gronkowski and Odell Beckham Jr. are the two finalists for the cover after Brown and Cardinals corner Patrick Peterson were eliminated in the semifinal fan vote.

The last time a Steeler was on the cover of the video game was 2009, when Troy Polamalu was featured alongside Larry Fitzgerald. Polamalu injured his knee in the first game of the ensuing season and was limited to just five games, giving Steelers fans even more reason to believe in the Madden jinx.

You have to wonder if Steelers fans stuffed the ballot box for Gronkowski since Pittsburgh will take on New England without the suspended Tom Brady in the 2015 season opener.

Voting for the final round is ongoing and the winner will be revealed Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
