Starting CB McGee inactive for Bills

Published Nov. 7, 2010 12:17 p.m. ET

Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

McGee was listed as probable after practicing all week. He misses his fifth straight game because of a nerve problem behind his knee that required surgery.

Newly acquired linebacker Shawne Merriman was also inactive for the Bills. Merriman, recovering from a calf injury, is expected to practice Monday after passing his physical Friday.

The Bears are without right guard Edwin Williams (back). Roberto Garza, returning after missing the past two games because of a knee injury, replaces Williams.

Tight end Desmond Clark is also inactive with a neck injury. Linebacker Lance Briggs is active after missing most of Chicago's loss to Washington on Oct. 24 with a left ankle injury.
