Seattle places WR Paul Richardson on injured reserve

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The Seattle Seahawks have placed wide receiver Paul Richardson on season-ending injured reserve because of a hamstring injury.

Seattle made the roster move Saturday and signed running back DuJuan Harris from the practice squad to take Richardson's spot on the 53-man roster.

Richardson started the season on the physically unable to perform list after suffering an ACL tear in the playoffs last January. Richardson returned for one game in Week 10 against Arizona and caught a 40-yard pass from Russell Wilson but injured his hamstring on the play. Seattle coach Pete Carroll had been hopeful of Richardson returning this week against Minnesota.

Richardson was a second-round pick by the Seahawks in 2014. He had 29 catches and one touchdown in the 2014 regular season.
