Ron Rivera's Agent Reacts to Rams Head Coach Speculation

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera’s agent has responded to speculation that he might be a candidate to take the Los Angeles Rams head coaching vacancy.
It didn’t take long for Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera’s agent to shoot down speculation about any potential interest in the Los Angeles Rams job.
Early Saturday morning, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport suggested Rivera could be a good fit for the Rams head coach vacancy. He also stated that Norv Turner could join Rivera in L.A. if the Rams could bring the Panthers head coach in.
Here are the tweets from Rapoport:
Name to watch for the #Rams HC opening: #Panthers coach Ron Rivera. With a large Hispanic population in LA & a young team, it would fit.

Coach trades are complicated. One involving Ron Rivera & #Rams would be hard. But would imagine Norv Turner, who lives in CA could join him

Well, not long after Rapoport said that, Rivera’s agent, Frank Bauer, responded to the speculation, via Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer:
“There hasn’t been any contact. Ron’s super happy where he’s at.”
“It’s news to me.”
While Rivera’s agent obviously wouldn’t tell anyone the head coach is interested in L.A. at this point, you can take Bauer’s words to the bank. There has been zero evidence Rivera wants to leave Carolina, nor has there been any evidence Carolina wants to part ways with its head coach.
Furthermore, the Panthers just inked Rivera to a three-year extension before the 2016 season and he’s one season removed from taking his team to the Super Bowl.
You can bet your bottom dollar that Rivera is a lock to return to Carolina after this season.
