If you think Rob Ryan isn't the person most frustrated with the defensive struggles from the New Orleans Saints in 2014, think again. With that said, though, Ryan has no intention of letting his defense lay another egg in 2015, according to Joel A. Erickson of The Advocate.

“When you finish 31st in the league in defense, I’ve got a lot to clean up,” Ryan told The Advocate. “I’m happy to have a great coach like Dennis with me. And our other coaches, they’re great coaches, so we took that personal last year. It’s been well-documented, it’s my fault, and we’ll see if it happens again. It ain’t going to.”

So how does Ryan feel about things heading into the 2015 season?

“We were slapped in the face pretty good on defense,” Ryan said. “It ain’t happening again.”

Well, you can't say Ryan's confidence has taken a hit. Regardless of what's been thrown at him, he's always remained confident in his defense, but heading into 2015, he has a strong reason to believe it could be an incredibly strong unit.
