Published Dec. 12, 2015 5:23 p.m. ET

There’s a chance New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returns to game action just two weeks after suffering a knee injury in a Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Gronkowski made the trip to Houston for the Patriots’ Week 14 game against the Texans on Sunday night, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. The veteran tight end is questionable to play.

The active/inactive lists typically are released around 7 p.m. ET for the Sunday night game.

Gronkowski returned to practice this week, along with injured wide receiver Julian Edelman. Edelman already has been ruled out of Patriots-Texans, though.

Gronk has 57 receptions for 931 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games.

The Patriots are trying to avoid their first three-game losing skid since 2002.
