I guess the NFL, just like everyone else, has a hard time not listening to Bill Belichick.

According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, the NFL has finally decided to look into Belichick’s idea for goal line cameras.

"The NFL will start research and development on Monday into Bill Belichick's idea to add cameras to the goal line and other areas for replay," Breer wrote on Twitter Saturday. "NFL looking for 'the right technology and then how to best integrate the cameras into the replay system that will work in all 31 stadiums.'"

Belichick recently brought up the idea of adding multiple cameras around NFL stadiums, specifically at the goal line, but the NFL reportedly pushed back for cost reasons. That did not sit well with Belichick, who Adam Schefter says responded with a profanity-laden rant.

And it’s hard to blame Belichick. I mean, who really thinks that the NFL, which rakes in billions of dollars each year, can’t afford a few cameras?

The hope would be that these cameras would help make some replay reviews easier and quicker, which I think everyone would agree is a good thing. We should hear more in the coming weeks and months.
