Report: McDonald arrested again for domestic violence
By Steve DelVecchio
Chicago Bears defensive end Ray McDonald was reportedly arrested over the weekend after another alleged incident involving domestic violence.
Damian Trujillo of NBC Bay Area reports that there could also be a child endangerment charge against McDonald.
McDonald signed a one-year contract with the Bears this offseason after spending the first eight years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. The latest accusation of domestic violence against him makes it three similar incidents in the past nine months.
McDonald was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence last year, but the charges were later dropped and the NFL recently cleared him. McDonald is also part of an ongoing investigation after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman a few months after being arrested for domestic violence. No charges have been filed in that case and McDonald has said he will sue the accuser.
The 30-year-old can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
