Report: Center Daniel Kilgore placed on reserve/PUP list

Daniel Kilgore's return to the football field remains uncertain.

According to CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco, the 49ers are expected to place Kilgore on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list. 

Such a move means Kilgore won't be playing for at least the first six weeks of the 2015 season. 

The four-year veteran started seven games in 2014 before suffering a broken leg that ended his season.

So far this preseason, the 49ers offensive line remains in flux, with the coaching staff trying to find the right unit up front to protect Colin Kaepernick.
