Report: Bills claim IK Enemkpali one day after Jets incident

Just one day after sucker punching Geno Smith and breaking his jaw in two places, linebacker IK Enemkpali has reportedly been claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills. The report comes from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

While most believed Enemkpali's career would be over after knocking Smith out for "at least" six to 10 weeks, Rex Ryan and the Bills proved those doubters wrong. Enemkpali is reportedly on his way to Buffalo and has "given the organization his side of the story."

Enemkpali was a sixth-round draft pick in 2014 and played just six games last season for the Jets, making three tackles and two pass deflections. Ryan will try to find a spot for Enemkpali on defense, where Manny Lawson, Preston Brown, and Nigel Bradham are expected to be the starters at linebacker.
