Redskins WR Jackson misses practice with shoulder injury

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 2:27 p.m. ET

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson missed a second consecutive day of practice because of a left shoulder injury, and his status for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings is uncertain.

Coach Jay Gruden says an MRI on Jackson's left shoulder showed some rotator cuff ''issues.'' Jackson has been listed as dealing with a shoulder injury since Oct. 19.

Jackson started all eight games so far this season and has 30 catches for 416 yards and a touchdown. He left the Oct. 30 game against the Bengals in London to be evaluated for a concussion and in previous weeks had knee, ankle and hamstring injuries.

The 29-year-old was also limited to nine games in 2015 because of a hamstring injury.
