Redskins fill Haynesworth's roster spot with Cook

The Washington Redskins have filled Albert Haynesworth's roster spot by promoting offensive lineman Erik Cook from the practice squad.

The Redskins made the move Saturday as they prepared for their game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cook is a rookie seventh-round draft pick from New Mexico. He was signed to the practice squad shortly after he was cut from the main roster at the end of training camp.

Defensive lineman Haynesworth was suspended for the rest of the season without pay by the Redskins on Tuesday.
